NEW HOMES NEEDED FOR THESE TWO FEMALES BY MARCH 31st AT THE LATEST!
Due to no fault of their own, these two cats are in need of new homes ASAP. They are both currently being fostered East of Regina in Wolseley but because of health concerns, the foster family is moving and won’t have room for any fosters. We’ve had both of these cats in our care for about 2 years now. We would either be looking for adoptive or long term foster homes for them. Both of these cats do not do well around other animals or small children, so need to go to quieter homes (although, we would consider a farm/shop home for Faline, see below for more info). Here is a bit of information on each cat:
"Faline" is about 4 years old and originally was found as a stray living on a reserve up north. She's a very friendly cat but she has some strange quirks. Some people she is okay with but some she is clearly not. So you will need to meet her in person if you are interested in her. She’s a very sweet and playful cat but needs a home without other animals or children. She absolutely HATES other cats (will go out of her way to beat up on them), despite having tried to desensitize her to them. She’s happiest being the only love in your life! It would be preferable if we could find her a good indoor home, but would consider letting her go as a shop/barn cat as long as she was well cared for and there were no other cats on the property (she would likely be a fantastic mouser!)
"Shiloh" is 11 years old. Sadly, her elderly owner had passed away and the family was unable to take her in. She became very scared of everyone and the world and was acting like a feral cat. She was in a foster home for many months and they rarely ever saw her. She’s been in her foster home in Wolsley since fall of 2018 and she has blossomed there and finally come out of her shell! She would do best in a quiet home with no kids or other animals. She’s an indoor only cat, has never been outdoors. This is how her foster mom describes her: “Shiloh is a very sweet cat. She will give the occasional love nip to test you but listens well to no. Shiloh is an independent cat that is great company for those who don’t like clingy cats. She’s quiet and very well behaved. She doesn’t like other animals but she’s all you need for a great companion.”
If you are interested in either fostering or adopting, please click on either the fostering or adopting tabs at the top for more information or to fill out a foster or adoption application! Both cats are spayed and vaccinated and only $50 each to adopt! If you are interested in fostering, we will supply everything that you need for them.
