Adoption Information for Dogs
We are NOT a shelter, all of our adoptable animals are in approved foster homes. So meeting any of the animals is by appointment only. Before you will be allowed to meet the animal, you must first complete an adoption application and let us do a home visit. If you are interested in adopting, we strongly recommend that you first thoroughly read through our adoption process as outlined below so that there are no surprises when we go over the adoption process with you!
ADOPTION FEES:
Puppies (under 6 months) - $400.00**
Dogs (over 6 months) - $150.00

Our adoption fees include age appropriate vaccinations, deworming, spay/neuter, and microchipping.
** Adoption fee for puppies under 6 months of age consists of a $300 adoption fee plus a $100 refundable spay/neuter deposit.
NOTE: KAWS only covers the vaccinations up until the point that the animal is adopted. We make sure the animal is up-to-date on their vaccinations before they are adopted, but anything after that is the adopter's responsibility.
