If you would like to help out but aren't in a position to adopt or foster, then why not Sponsor a Cat for the holiday season? This is a great way to help out our animals without the commitment! This can also be a unique gift idea for those hard-to-buy for people, or for just someone who loves animals!
By becoming a sponsor during the holidays, you will be helping to provide an adoptable cat with food, medical care and other supplies such as litter and toys for as little as $25. There are 4 levels of sponsorship to choose from:

Silver Sponsorship - $50.00
Gold Sponsorship - $75.00
Platinum Sponsorship - $100.00
Just to put things into perspective, on average it costs us about $40/month to feed a kitten under the age of 6 months. That doesn't include cat litter, toys, any possible vet bills or any supplements/medications the cat may need (one of our adoptable kittens, Porsche, needs daily supplements for a heart condition she was diagnosed with that costs us roughly $20/month).
Sponsors will receive an Official Certificate of Sponsorship with a picture of the sponsored pet & the level of sponsorship, a postcard notification when the pet is adopted, and the satisfaction of making a difference in the life of an animal in need.
To sponsor a cat, scroll through the photos below of all of our current adoptable cats. If you find one that you would like to sponsor, there is an option to do so underneath each photo. You can pay via credit card or PayPal (if you would prefer to pay via another method such as cheque or email money transfer, just let us know and that can be arranged!). Choose the level of sponsorship you'd like and click the "add to cart" button. You may add more than one cat if you would like by clicking the "continue shopping" link in your cart!
If this sponsorship is a gift for someone and you would like us to mail the certificate directly to them, then please remember to give us their mailing address (otherwise it will be mailed to you) and also their name so we can put it on the certificate. We can also customize the certificate. For example, instead of having your name on it, we can make it out to be in memory of a person or pet. If you would like something other than your name, let us know either by email ([email protected]) or in the comments section during the checkout process.
Each cat can be sponsored by more than one person. For those of you who wish to sponsor a cat that doesn't have a sponsor yet, look below each photo; if the cat has a sponsor, it will be noted.

Porsche
Date of Birth: June 17, 2014
Has been in foster care since: June 17, 2014 Porsche is a gorgeous and very sweet kitten, but was unfortunately diagnosed with a heart condition called cardiomyopathy. It's a thickening of the heart muscle. She is now on daily heart supplements to help keep heart healthy. The vet said she may all of a sudden die next week, or she may live to be 10+ years old. As you can imagine, this doesn't make her very adoptable. But we hope that someone will take a chance on her and let her live her life to the fullest, however long that may be! |
Lexus has 1 Silver Level Sponsor so far!
|
LexusDate of Birth: June 17, 2014
Has been in foster care since: June 17, 2014 Lexus is a very handsome fellow who loves attention. As a little kitten he used to meow to be picked up and he still likes to be held. He likes to cuddle as well. We don't understand why he hasn't been adopted yet! |
Mercedes has 2 Bronze Level Sponsors so far!
|
MercedesDate of Birth: June 17, 2014
Has been in foster care since: June 17, 2014 Mercedes is another one of our gorgeous kittens. She loves to play with strings on hoodies, we're sure that's her favorite toy! She's not much of a cuddler but still loves attention from her humans. |
Jaguar has 1 Bronze Level Sponsor so far!
|
JaguarDate of Birth: June 17, 2014
Has been in foster care since: June 17, 2014 Jaguar is the "black sheep" of his litter. His other 6 siblings have lots of white on them and most are fluffy and orange, but he came out a tabby! What he lacks in color though, he makes up for in personality! In September he was quite sick and made several trips to Saskatoon to be checked out by the vet. We believe he ingested a foreign object and this caused him to have some pretty severe stomach issues that were hard to diagnose. Finally, he was put on the right medications and his issues resolved themselves, and he's now healthy as can be! When he was sick, he spent a lot of time away from his siblings, so he really became attached to people. He LOVES to play and will go crazy for a laser point and his feather on a stick toy! |
Ferrari has 1 Bronze Level Sponsor so far!
|
FerrariDate of Birth: June 17, 2014
Has been in foster care since: June 17, 2014 Ferrari was the runt of her litter. She's quieter and more subdued than her siblings and is a bit shy around strange people/animals. But she is probably the sweetest kitten we've ever met, not a mean bone in her body! She loves attention from the people she knows well. She has SUCH soft fur, it feels like a rabbit. We have recently discovered that her favorite toy is a laser pointer! |
Camaro has 1 Bronze Level Sponsor so far!
|
CamaroDate of Birth: June 17, 2014
Has been in foster care since: June 17, 2014 Camaro is a uniquely colored kitten with an equally colorful personality. She can be a bit quirky, but in a good way! Like her siblings, she loves attention and is fine with being picked up and held. She loves playing with all of her siblings, especially in a game of laser pointer. |
Truffles has 1 Bronze Level Sponsor so far!
|
TrufflesDate of Birth: June 23, 2014
Has been in foster care since: June 23, 2014 Truffles and his brother Rolo were born to a mother cat who tested positive for FIV (feline aids). These 2 kittens are very lucky to be alive as the vet had recommended that we abort the pregnancy and another rescue group that said they could take her would have done the same thing. Thankfully a young lady stepped up and offered to foster the mother and her unborn babies for us! We have done a lot of research on FIV positive cats, and have found out that there is actually a very low chance that the kittens will have the disease. However, we can't test for it until they are at least 6 months old because they could still have FIV antibodies in their systems from their mother's milk and it takes awhile for those antibodies to dissipate. Truffles is an extremely affectionate cat who loves nothing more than curling up in any person's lap! He is always purring and just loves to be around people. |

Rolo is very much like his brother and loves the attention of people. While he's not as much of a lap cat as Truffles, he still LOVES to be petted and loved on. He purrs at the drop of a hat and has such a rattly, loud purr! |

KahluaDate of Birth: June 16, 2014
Has been in foster care since: June 16, 2014 Kahlua is one of 5 kittens that were born to a stray cat that had been living in the local Wal-Mart for quite some time! She was hard to trap, but they finally caught her, just in time too - she ended up giving birth the very next day! Kahlua is more mellow than his siblings and is a huge suck. He loves to cuddle! |

TequilaDate of Birth: June 16, 2014
Has been in foster care since: June 16, 2014 Tequila is one of 5 kittens that were born to a stray cat that had been living in the local Wal-Mart for quite some time! She was hard to trap, but they finally caught her, just in time too - she ended up giving birth the very next day! Tequila is a feisty little girl, but she has to be as she was the only female out of the litter! She enjoys playing with the young German Shepherd pup in her foster home :) |
Whiskey has 1 Bronze Level Sponsor so far!
|
WhiskeyDate of Birth: June 16, 2014
Has been in foster care since: June 16, 2014 Whiskey is one of 5 kittens that were born to a stray cat that had been living in the local Wal-Mart for quite some time! She was hard to trap, but they finally caught her, just in time too - she ended up giving birth the very next day! Whiskey plays the hardest out of all of his other siblings. He just LOVES playing with the young German Shepherd pup in the foster home. When the kittens were younger, it was almost impossible to tell them apart because their tabby markings were all so very similar. But it was easy to pick Whiskey out because of his tail - the end of it isn't pointed, it's a bit stubby! Makes him stand out :) |
Stanley has 2 Bronze Level Sponsors so far!
|
StanleyDate of Birth: October 1, 2013 (estimated)
Has been in foster care since: Oct.24/13 Stanley was found as a tiny 3-4 week old kitten with no mother or siblings in sight. He has now grown into a very handsome young man! He's been uprooted a few times this year - We had to find him another foster home this summer because his previous one was moving out of the province. Then he was adopted back in September to what we hoped would be his forever home, but unfortunately he was returned shortly after because the dog in the home didn't get along with him :( But despite all of that, he remains a happy, easy going guy! He has quite the personality and some odd quirks, but that's what makes him so lovable! |
Annie has 1 Bronze Level Sponsor so far!
|
AnnieDate of Birth: Feb.13/13 (estimated)
Has been in foster care since: Oct.26/13 Annie has been with us for over a year now. She was found last year the week before Halloween in someone's garage with her 8 day old kittens. The person who found them took them to the vet clinic right away, but sadly one by one they all passed away despite everyone's best efforts. Despite the sad circumstances, she has always been a very loving cat. She absolutely LOVES attention and is always wanting to be petted. |
Katie has 1 Bronze Level Sponsor so far!
|
KatieDate of Birth: Spring of 2012 (estimated)
Has been in foster care since: May.13/14 Katie was found as a stray in Flaxcombe back in May and was taken straight to the vet clinic for a badly infected abscess on her hind leg. She also had a strange bony knot at the end of her tail, likely from an old injury. Shortly after, we found out she was pregnant! She gave birth to 7 beautiful kittens on Jun.17th (they are the "sports car" themed litter, we still have 6 of them in our care). We had posted Katie for adoption earlier in the fall and a previous owner stepped forward when she saw her photo! (she didn't own her at the time that she was found). We learned a bit about our Katie from her. This was her 3rd litter of kittens (and also her last, since she is now spayed!) and she already had the bony knot in her tail when she got her at 4 months old. She did express an interest in "adopting" her, but unfortunately she's just not in a position right now to take her back. |
